Abigail Perkiss is a Professor of History at Kean University in Union, NJ. She is co-editor of the Oral History Review and author of several books, including Hurricane Sandy on New Jersey’s Forgotten Shore and Making Good Neighbors: Civil Rights, Liberalism, and Integration in Post-WWII Philadelphia.
